Preliminary Discussions
- Create open communication channels so that your needs are clearly detailed and formulated into a brief.
- Ensure we understand what you needs, the timeframes you require and the expected budgets for the project.
- Establish whether the golf project will involve residential and resort components and plan for this requirement.
- Assist your team in preparing all the needed site information required to prepare design ideas and further planning.
-
2
Concept Planning
- Prepare initial ideas and concept plans for the site.
- Participate in additional meetings with various stakeholders to establish further ideas of what may be required.
- Respond quickly in preparing drawings and delivering presentations that are often required by the client project team and local Government.
- Provide advice on other aspects of a project including general landscaping, building and villa concepts, road infrastructure, construction methods and delivery.
-
3
Design Development
- Present additional design options and refine concept plans to reflect further thinking.
- Seek final feedback and support from your team so that the final design ideas and concepts meet all requirements.
- Achieve final sign-off of all concept designs from you and your key stakeholders.

Master Plan
- Achieving this stage indicates that Design Development has been successful and that the plans are finalised.
- We provide detailed reports on our overall site planning methodology and how the planned golf course will integrate with its surroundings.
- Detailed Masterplan drawings are prepared and provided to your team and other key stakeholders such as Government representatives.
- These Masterplans are formally agreed so we can commence detailed contract documentation.

Detailed Documentation
- It has often been said that our construction documentation is the best in the industry.
- We prepare precise construction plans (all with GPS coordinates) that are used extensively in the construction of your new course.
- Our documentation includes greens, tees and bunker plans drawn to 0.25m (and/or 0.15m) contour intervals – just an example of just how finely detailed our documentation is.
- We provide a detailed Construction Specification report that describes the materials and standards that will be required for each part of the construction process. This specification can be used to issue tenders and often forms the basis of a contract between the owner and the construction contractor.

Construction Monitoring
- In order to ensure delivery of the best possible outcome for our client, it is essential that we monitor the construction of the project.
- Usually, one of our senior golf architects is located on site through the entire construction period to monitor the implementation of our vision. We find this constant presence often leads to substantial reductions in construction costs and the delivery of a wonderful golf course.

Grow-in Consultation
- In consultation with your appointed Superintendent, we proactively visit your golf course during and following the construction of your project.
- We spend considerable time assessing local weather and soil conditions to ensure the grasses selected for your site will meet short, medium and long term growing requirements.
- Each site visit is followed up with a comprehensive report of our findings and includes recommendations.
