Jade Island International, Beijing, China
This golf course was the only new golf course designed and built in Beijing in the Olympic Year, 2008. This superb 18-hole private golf course opened in 2009 to the highest of praise from golfing experts. The course is a true championship layout which also provides great satisfaction for golfers of all abilities. The owners want CGD to design a further 9 holes on adjacent land. The new nine holes will match the outstanding quality of the existing golf course. Beijing will be well served by this outstanding 27 holes complex as the whole complex will be spoken about with reverence and with great interest by the golfing cognoscenti.

Foshan Golf and Country Club, Foshan, China
This is a 27-hole golfing complex, situated in a wonderful area of China, came to us as an existing 18-hole golf course that we have re-routed and redesigned, in addition to the new 9 holes we have designed to complement the first 18 holes. The first stage is to convert a fairly standard, run of the mill course into a flagship championship course, unique to Southern China, set in natural surroundings with a strong focus on native grasses and shrubs. We are bringing to Foshan a glorious layout of golf holes, very natural in their character, very flexible in their demands, very beautiful in their settings, very stimulating in their play by everyone who is fortunate enough to play them…and providing a complete golf terrain which exemplifies how good design and construction can ensure improved environmental values through the terrain and its waterways: the emphasis we will place on the ‘natural’ character of this wonderful site will ensure this. Construction started on the new 9-hole course in April 2010.

The Seasons Villa Company, Yayao, Hangzhou, China
A 27 holes golfing and residential complex with golf holes meandering through terrain which offers an enchanting mix: hilly, forested country to the north and golf holes set amongst beautiful water bodies in the south. Of particular interest will be the old sand quarry in the south-east where CGD has designed some spectacular and memorable golf holes. Some lovely hill spurs and valleys will provide many photo opportunities for the imaginative golfer or visitor. The site for the whole complex is varied, beautiful and enchanting and the villas will be located on the elevated sections, many with panoramic views. The golf offering will be of the very highest standard with subtle green complexes, verdant and undulating fairways, bold and challenging bunkering and an overall feeling of excellence.

Tangchi Hot Springs Golf and Spa Resort, Hefei City, Anhui Province, China
This 27-hole complex will take advantage of the magnificent hot springs in the immediate area. A hotel, residential and golfing complex, this golf course will offer golf holes running through forest land and also through the lower-lying areas with marvellous reflections from the many water bodies. An old quarry will provide an interesting background for some holes in the northern section and a sports and recreation centre will attract many local, inter-province and international visitors. This is a very special project in a marvellous location. The golf course will offer rewards to the strategic thinker, but will also provide excellent opportunities for the brave.

Lushan International Golf Course, Lushan, China
At Lushan, we have designed 9 new holes to complement the existing 18-hole course, which will have significant changes to it in the future, creating a 27-hole mixed-use development including commercial and residential areas as well as a golf clubhouse with accommodation provision. The new 9 holes opened in 2008, to the delight of golfers discovering Lushan’s beautiful surroundings – an undulating golf course meandering through established forests. Following the redesign of the 18 existing holes, there are plans to design an additional 18 holes, creating a 45-hole golfing destination.

Villa Son My, Ham Tan District, Bunh Thuan Province, Vietnam
A 27-hole golf, residential and commercial project, this new challenge is situated in the perfect area for golf – sandy, wild, natural terrain close to the sea. With previous experience in building great golf courses in similar country in Australia (The Dunes Golf Links and 13Th Beach Golf Links, both courses in Australia’s Top 30 Golf Courses), Cashmore Golf Design has already started supervising the construction of this great venture. We aim to touch the land gently and utilise many of the great sandy dunes as important features in the ultimate golf course design. Many of the villas will have long views over the golf course and the sea and the principal aim of the project is to provide a spectacular golf course allied with a sophisticated residential and holiday/commercial precinct. This is a very special project for Vietnam.
